Play Therapy
Play therapy is particularly useful in engaging young children, those who struggle with verbal expression, or youth who do not want to participate in traditional ‘talk therapy’. Play Therapy uses the fact that play is the child’s natural medium of self-expression and taps into this to allow the child to be able to ‘play out’ his or her feelings and problems just as, in certain types of adult therapy, an individual ‘talks out’ his or her difficulties. Pam has over ten years of experience in play therapy.
